EARTH DAY

EARTH DAY was first held on April 22, 1970 as a nationwide demonstration, petitioning the government to put environmental issues on the political agenda. Thousands of schools and about 20 million demonstrators participated in the original EARTH DAY. EARTH DAY was such a SUCCESS that it is now celebrated annually.

WHAT IS THE ONE TOY THAT A CHILD SHOULD HAVE?

Building blocks are a staple of every childs room or toy chest. Can you think of a time you have been in a daycare, a childs room or church nursery that you didn’t see blocks?  To some people they seem so simple. But those simple blocks are priceless when you consider how valuable block play is to developing so many skills!  1. PHYSICALLY:  Your child will use large and small motor skills when playing with wood blocks. Large blocks have some weight to them and your child can even build strength by lifting them, carrying them, and stacking with them.
